Corporate involvement in a community means that economic and social benefits are shared by many people. We create wealth in communities through our major projects, including:

• direct and indirect job creation, which lead to increased income, and local prosperity and development
• increased tax revenue and infrastructure, which enhance community life and sustainability
• community development

Other less obvious — but no less important — benefits include increasing the skills of the labour force in the area and supporting Aboriginal and Native American communities.

Enbridge’s strength is in large part due to the strength of the communities in which we operate. And our communities’ strength is in large part due to Enbridge’s strength. We think that’s a relationship worth investing in.
