At Enbridge, we take our responsibility to the environment seriously, and recognize that the way we treat the planet is our natural legacy. Because of this, we invest in programs that promote environmental stewardship, conservation, habitat remediation, habitat protection and environmental education.
The Natural Legacy Program is a partnership that provides Enbridge with an opportunity to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, habitat remediation and protection. We do this through initiatives such as elementary educational programs, and the planting and care of native trees and plants throughout urban and rural areas along Enbridge rights-of-way (ROW). We operate this program with environmental/conservation partners and employee volunteers dispersing the funding across Canada and the United States.
