The Line 78 Pipeline represents approximately 79 miles of new crude oil pipeline, generally along existing routes in Illinois and Indiana. The pipeline route runs adjacent and parallel to the Enbridge Line 62 for the majority of the route. Line 78 crosses six counties in two states (Livingston, Grundy, Kankakee, Will, and Cook Counties, Ill. and Lake County, Ind.), with the origination point at Enbridge’s Flanagan Terminal near Pontiac, Ill. and terminating at Enbridge’s Terminal near Griffith, Ind.
