Enbridge Income Fund

Enbridge created the Enbridge Income Fund (EIF) in June 2003. On formation, EIF acquired a 50% interest in the Canadian segment of the Alliance Pipeline (see Gas Pipelines) and a 100% interest in Enbridge Pipelines (Saskatchewan) Inc. from Enbridge Inc. EIF also has a 50% interest in NRGreen Power Limited Partnership, which is developing electrical generation opportunities with waste heat, and interests in three wind power projects in Western Canada. Enbridge holds an approximate 72% overall economic interest in EIF.
