Regulation
Many of Enbridge’s pipeline facility and distribution operations are regulated and are subject to regulatory risk. The nature and degree of regulation and legislation affecting energy companies in Canada and the U.S. have changed significantly in past years, and there is no assurance that further substantial changes will not occur. These changes may adversely affect toll structures or other aspects of pipeline operations or the operations of shippers.
