UPDATE: December 5, 2018, 10:05 a.m. MST

SaskPower has returned electricity to Enbridge’s pipeline operations in Saskatchewan. Our Mainline system – which includes Lines 1, 2a, 3, 4, and 67 – as well as Line 13 have been returned to service. We may see intermittent service outages with Saskpower.

UPDATE: December 4, 2018, 6:15 p.m. MST

Due to the SaskPower electrical outage in Saskatchewan, Enbridge’s Line 1, 2a, 3, 4, 13 and 67 will remain shut down through the night.

SaskPower has indicated it anticipates power will remain down until at least the morning of Wednesday, December 5. Enbridge will be in contact with SaskPower through the night to evaluate the possibility of starting the lines earlier.

Enbridge will provide an update once power has been restored, and we have begun the process of returning the impacted pipelines to normal operation.

Enbridge is closely monitoring the SaskPower outage in Saskatchewan caused by the recent extreme weather.

We can confirm that operations on our Mainline system have been impacted, resulting in temporary outages or reduced flow rates on Lines 1, 2a, 3, 4, 13 and 67. There is no safety risk to the public or the environment as a result of these outages.

Enbridge has offered any assistance it can provide to SaskPower, and is working with the utility to restore power to our operations as soon as possible. We have no timelines at the moment when operations will return to normal.
