Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer
ENGLISH | FRANÇAIS
Enbridge is proud to be the title sponsor of the Alberta and Ontario legs of the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer.
A remarkably successful program, the Ride to Conquer Cancer event series is Canada's largest peer-to-peer fundraiser, in terms of dollars raised. Since its inception in 2008, the event has raised more than $482 million for cancer research, treatment, and care at the Alberta Cancer Foundation, the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in Toronto, and the Jewish General Hospital Segal Cancer Centre in Montreal.
Every year, thousands of riders across Canada bring passion and perseverance in their efforts to help achieve a cancer-free future—first by raising thousands of dollars in pledges, then by saddling up for an epic 200-kilometre ride. Money raised goes toward cancer research, prevention, treatment, and enhancements in care—striking an important blow in the fight against a disease that impacts one in four Canadians. Enbridge is honoured to support the Alberta and Ontario foundations in their valiant quest to conquer cancer in our lifetime. Sign up today at conquercancer.ca
The 2020 Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer season went virtual due to COVID-19. Although participants were not able to ride the two-day, 200-kilometre journey, 902 riders helped raised $1.9 million for the Alberta Cancer Foundation and over 4,000 riders raised more than $7 million in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Since 2011, Enbridge has been the title sponsor of the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Collectively, over 2700 Enbridge employees, their friends and their families have raised over $9.75 million for the Ride across Canada.
