Petrolia Battery Power Storage Project

Enbridge Inc. is proposing to build the Petrolia Battery Power Storage Project to provide reliability services for Ontario’s electricity grid in St. Clair Township, Ontario. Electricity demand in southwest Ontario is increasing rapidly and the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) is seeking new energy capacity in the region to provide electricity during periods of high demand.

The Petrolia Battery Power Storage Project can provide electricity to the grid when dispatched by IESO to help ensure a reliable supply of electricity in the region.
