Regulatory Information

The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (MPUC) is responsible for certifying project need and pipeline routing in Minnesota. The MPUC's Line 3 Replacement Project summary can be found here.

On May 1, 2020, the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission reissued the project's Certificate of Need and Route Permit for Minnesota. The written orders can be viewed here.
