Enbridge ACGS Acquisition Inc. application for approval acquisition shares Aitken Creek Gas Storage

On May 12, 2023, Enbridge ACGS applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission), pursuant to section 54 of the Utilities Commission Act (Act), for an order approving the acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares of Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC (ACGS).
On April 28, 2023, Enbridge GTM Canada Inc. (Enbridge GTM) and FortisBC Holdings Inc. (FHI) entered into a purchase agreement under which Enbridge ACGS Acquisition Inc. (Enbridge ACGS) will purchase all shares of FortisBC Midstream Inc., which holds all of the issued and outstanding shares of ACGS (Purchase Agreement).
ACGS owns and operates the Aitken Creek Gas Storage Facility. The Aitken Creek Gas Storage Facility is situated approximately 120 kilometres northwest of Fort St. John.
