4-H Canada Celebrates Its Centennial Year with the Countrywide "100 Years of Memories" Contest

May 30, 2013

CALGARY, ALBERTA and OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 30, 2013) - 4-H Canada and Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB)(NYSE:ENB) today launched a Canada-wide contest that invites 4-H members and their clubs to celebrate 4-H's 100th anniversary by reflecting on its rich history and literally building where they think 4-H is headed in the next century.

As part of its national title sponsorship of 4-H's Centennial Celebrations in 2013, Enbridge has created a special deck of 4-H cards that have illustrations of unique facts, stories and memories collected from 4-H members, leaders and alumni. Unlike traditional playing cards, 4-H Clubs will stack, fold, pile, glue and cut the cards to create a representation of their vision for the next 100 years of 4-H. From futuristic ranch structures to new 4-H program ideas, members are encouraged to think outside the box.

"4-H Canada has a proud history and we are excited to view all of the submissions from across the country," said Shannon Benner, CEO of 4-H Canada. "The future of 4-H is limitless, and the ingenuity of the collective minds from 4-H Clubs will certainly result in artistic and innovative creations."

4-H Clubs will have an opportunity to win a prize by submitting videos or photos with an explanation of their structure and vision to 4-H's Facebook page where members can easily share them with their friends.

"4-H is producing the leaders of tomorrow from the youth of today- a commitment Enbridge is proud to support. We wish 4-H continued success for the next hundred years," said Roxanna Benoit, Vice President Public, Government & Aboriginal Affairs. "We are happy to host the 100 Years of Memories contest and to highlight the imaginations and originality of 4-H'rs from coast to coast. Good luck to all the participants."

The contest will run from June 15 to October 31, 2013 and winners will be announced on Show Your Colours Day in November.
