Transmission Power Lines
To power the new electric-driven compressors and ensure reliable operations, approximately 39.8 km of new transmission powerlines are being proposed in the following locations:
- approximately 9.9 km, located east of Groundbirch (CS-16).
- approximately 29.4 km, located northwest of Hudson’s Hope (CS-N5).
- approximately 0.5 km, located south of Taylor (CS-1B).
These overhead powerlines will largely follow existing linear infrastructure such as roads or pipeline routes to minimize environmental and public disruptions.
