Safeguarding our waterways: ‘A cherished journey’

Rachel, a former member of the U.S. Coast Guard, now keeps a watchful eye on the Straits of Mackinac as an emergency response specialist with Enbridge in the Great Lakes region. “The work I do carries great meaning for me,” she says. Rachel says the Great Lakes Tunnel Project is a vital step in preserving Michigan waters and ensuring access to reliable, affordable energy. Rachel vows to continue doing her part in supporting “a future that harmonizes the need for energy, and our duty to protect our natural resources.”
