West Texas Express, an Enbridge company, is pleased to announce a non-binding open season to solicit market interest in its proposed West Texas Express Pipeline Project (the “Project” or “WTX”). The Project responds to significant El Paso regional market interest in access to sustained growth in Permian Basin natural gas production and increasing demand for reliable takeaway capacity out of the Waha hub. The Project is a proposed greenfield intrastate natural gas pipeline system consisting of a greenfield pipeline, extending from receipt points in the Waha hub area of the Permian Basin to delivery points in the greater El Paso area, with lateral facilities providing deliverability into Hudspeth County, Texas and to one or more new or existing delivery meters at the U.S.-Mexico border.
During the Open Season period (2:00 p.m. CST, Sept. 8, 2026 through 4:00 p.m. CST, Sept. 25, 2026), interested parties are requested to submit a non-binding service request form ("Service Request Form") identifying the requested Transport Quantity (Dth/d), desired contract term and service commencement date, proposed receipt points, proposed delivery points, and proposed reservation rate.
