Line 2B hydrostatic testing
Enbridge completed the Line 2B hydrotest from the U.S./Canadian Border to Superior, Wis. on September 26, 2015. The test provided important integrity information to affirm safe pipeline operating parameters. Enbridge protects public safety and the environment with integrity work, like hydrotests, on our pipelines to contine the safe and reliable delivery of energy for our customers. The safety of those who live and work near our pipelines and facilities and of our employees and contractors is always our top priority. We appreciate the patience of all of those who live and work near Line 2B while we performed that important maintenance test.

Line 2B Hydrotest water injection site near Hallock, Minnesota.

The underground pipeline is excavated and piping for the hydrotest is temporarily installed to allow test water to be injected into the pipeline.

Line 2B right-of-way near Cass Lake, Minnesota. Unless maintenance is required, most of the right-of-way will remain undisturbed during the testing period. At public access areas, caution signs will be posted to alert the public during the test.
