Who purchased Ozark Pipeline from Enbridge?

Our Answer

Louise asked this question on May 31, 2017.

Hi Louise,

Ozark Pipeline, or Line 51, was previously owned and operated by Enbridge. The Ozark Pipeline is a 22-inch-diameter crude oil line traveling 433 miles from Cushing, OK to Wood River, IL.

The Ozark Pipeline was acquired earlier this year by an affiliate of MPLX LP from Enbridge Pipelines (Ozark) LLC for approximately US$220 million. The purchase was announced on Feb. 13, 2017, and closed on March 1, 2017.
