Environmental assessment and field studies
Westcoast completed environmental studies, archaeological field work in October 2026. The environmental field studies included water- and land-based assessments, wildlife and habitat studies, and historical and cultural assessments.
The information gathered through these studies has informed the design of the project, including route and site selection. It has also helped to identify measures to mitigate potential effects on the environment and local communities.
