Cowboy Solar I & II and BESS Project

Enbridge is developing a solar and battery energy storage project in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The Project will be built in two phases:

• Phase I includes enough power to generate 365 megawatts (MW) of electricity (solar generated), along with a battery energy storage system (BESS) that can save energy for when it is needed.
• Phase II will add another 400 megawatts (MW) of solar power and additional battery storage.

Together, the solar panels and battery will provide a reliable source of electricity, help keep the power grid stable, and enable more renewable energy to be used across the region.
