Retired U.S. Coast Guard Captain Mike Davanzo sailed on waterways stretching from the Great Barrier Reef near Australia to the Puget Sound near Seattle and beyond, yet he considers his taking the helm of the Enbridge Straits Maritime Operations Center (ESMOC) “a perfect fit.”
In a new video, Davanzo explains why it’s a good match and shares his passion for protecting Michigan’s waterways, especially the Straits of Mackinac.
