From classroom to field: Indigenous knowledge in action on Line 5

B&W Services’ archaeological field school is helping train future tribal monitors while preserving Indigenous knowledge and protecting culturally significant sites. Several past students are now working on the Line 5 Wisconsin Segment Relocation Project, applying the skills they learned in the field and helping ensure Indigenous communities have a meaningful role in projects that involve ground disturbance.
