Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library: ‘The library is the landscape’

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, near Medora, North Dakota, celebrated its grand opening on America’s 250th anniversary as a national destination for leadership, conservation, sustainability and civic engagement. “We are already seeing nesting birds on our site, an increased amount of pollinators and wildlife we’ve not seen before,” says Jenn, the TRPL’s director of sustainability. Enbridge’s $2.5-million founding gift will support the TRPL’s rooftop classroom and Native Plant Project, which is reintroducing about 400,000 native plants across 100 acres. “The vision of the library aligns very well with our core values as a company,” notes Pete Sheffield, Enbridge’s Chief Sustainability Officer.
