Preserving a globally rare habitat in Wisconsin Bayfield County and the Wisconsin DNR, supported by an Enbridge Ecofootprint grant, have been carrying out the Northwestern Sands Barren Restoration project to save bird species and support a thriving environment for pollinator plants.
