L5WSRP: ‘A wonderful time of year to be building’

Chris, a project manager with Enbridge’s Line 5 Wisconsin Segment Relocation Project, says the project workforce has hit 600 and will continue to grow through the summer. Crews recently completed a road bore under Highway 2 with no traffic interruption, and the project has incurred zero lost worker time due to injury. “Over the next couple of months, we’ll continue to bring more people on to the project, and we’ll have all phases of construction going,” he says. “The crews are happy to be here . . . it’s just a wonderful time of year to be building in northern Wisconsin.”
