‘Very proud to be on this project’
Crews on Enbridge’s Line 5 Wisconsin Segment Relocation Project are developing project staging yards, building access roads with temporary wooden mats, and establishing other environmental controls—with about 200 workers involved in May startup. Cylor, a construction manager with Enbridge, expects the project workforce will double by late June. “Safety is always a priority. We’re all on the same page and working in the same direction,” he says. “As we get ramped up, we’ll be seeing a lot more traffic. Trucks entering. Flaggers on roads. People should be mindful of the signage and workers on the side of the road. We’re trying to keep everybody safe.”
