‘A team effort, all around’
On this day, workers out on the Line 5 Wisconsin Segment Relocation Project right-of-way begin with an all-hands meeting. “We bring everybody in, recognize all the good doings that have been happening out here,” says John, a chief inspector on the project. A member of the Cherokee Tribe in eastern Oklahoma, John has lived in Wisconsin for the past two years during the pre-construction and construction stages. “Everybody here is extremely welcoming,” he says. “It’s a warm feeling when you go into town and everybody is so curious about the project, and really glad to have us in the area.”
