Algonquin’s proposed project requires close coordination with federal and state agencies, along with local utilities. On Sept. 29, 2025, Algonquin filed an application, under section 7(b) and 7(c) of the Natural Gas Act (NGA) with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
FERC has issued Docket: CP25-552-000 for the Cape Cod Canal Pipeline Relocation Project.
