Strategically positioned network with unparalleled connectivity to growing demand
2026 priorities:
1
People/safety: Focus on continual safety performance improvement
2
Growth: Continue to execute secured growth projects. Reach FID on capital projects with competitive build multiples; key focus areas include opportunities that support rising power demand and LNG growth
3
Protect the base: Identify additional revenue enhancements and cost reductions within base assets
4
Operational excellence: Operate our assets reliably and efficiently; ensure customers have access to needed capacity
5
Regulatory outcomes: Continue successful rate case strategy in the U.S. and improve returns on the B.C. assets and construction projects
Last-mile connectivity
Safely, reliably and affordably transport 20% of the gas consumed in the U.S. and deliver gas to >170 million people across North America with connectivity from all major supply basins to key demand centers
LNG growth and storage
With connectivity to 100% of operating USGC LNG export capacity, we are able to deliver ~5 bcf/d, accounting for 8% of global volumes. Own ~10% of all US Gulf Coast storage capacity and the only natural gas storage facility in BC
Conventional demand
North America residential heating and gas-fired power generation demand continues to accelerate, driven by an increased focus on data centers and shifts in regulatory and permitting policy. GTM assets are ideally situated next to 45% of North American gas-fired generation, 4 GW of new data center demand and 80 GW of coal plants
Strategy in action
Furthered Permian gas presence through acquisition of 10% stake in Matterhorn Express and sanctioning of 2.5 Bcf/d Eiger Express pipeline, subsequently upsized to 3.7 Bcf/d, driven by growing demand for natural gas transportation out of the Permian and supported by long-term customer contracts
Reached negotiated settlement with shippers on Texas Eastern
Supported growing West Coast LNG export demand by sanctioning 40 Bcf expansion of the Aitken Creek gas storage facility
Sanctioned multiple projects including Birch Grove, the US Gulf Coast Storage Program, the Algonquin Enhancement project and Line 31 Expansion
