Tomorrow. It’s more than just a day, it’s an idea. It doesn’t exist, yet we prepare for it. It hasn’t happened, yet it brings us hope.

Tomorrow is what we make it. And we’re making it happen today.

By constantly renewing our commitment to renewables. By modernizing our systems with newer technologies and lower-carbon solutions. By providing the energy life demands without straining the resources we have. While listening to the communities we serve and working with our partners to make a difference. Today is for adding substance to sustainability. And dotting every “i” in innovation.

We know there’s no single path to net zero. And we’re committed to putting in the work and energy to get there.

Because when we step up and meet the challenges of today,

Tomorrow is on.

Our solar self-power program
Enbridge’s solar self-power program is a cornerstone of our ESG commitments.

Along our pipeline rights-of-way, we’re actively developing and executing opportunities to “self-power”—building and operating renewable power generation facilities to help power our assets with clean electricity. To date, we’ve announced 13 solar projects across North America.

Who we are, and what we do
Sustainability at Enbridge
Sustainability is central to everything we do. Across our business, we’ve committed to net-zero GHG emissions by the year 2050—and reducing our emissions intensity 35% by 2030.

As a leader in North American energy infrastructure, we have an important role to play in providing access to cleaner energy. That role involves contributing to greenhouse gas emission reductions goals and seeking new and improved ways to deliver energy safely, responsibly and sustainably.

New Energy Technologies: Our strategy
At Enbridge, we’re bridging to a cleaner energy future. Achieving global emission goals requires scaling low-carbon energies, innovation, acceleration of renewables and electricity build-out.

And that’s why we’re supporting society’s transition to a low-carbon economy by pioneering innovative solutions such as hydrogen, renewable natural gas, and carbon capture and storage.
